Dork Diaries is the title of my book, the Author is Rachel Renee Russell, the genre is realistic fiction, the text type is narrative, and Author’s purpose is to entertain.

            The setting is at her school, the characters are Nikki, Briana, Mom, Dad, Mackenzie, Brandon, Chloe and Zoey.

                        First it is Nikki’s first day of 7^th grade and she went to school and there is a really mean girl her name is Mackenzie and she thinks she is the best artist at her school but Nikki was a really good artist to so then Nikki decide to help out at the library instead but she starts doing tattoo’s with her pen in school and she became really cool. But then she enters in the art contest but one day she put her drawing on the street for a little while so she could get her book bag and she so she left it there and her dad ran it over, so then she couldn’t win but her friends Chloe, Zoey, and Brandon made a plan and after all Nikki won.

            This book was a really good book because it was funny,  I would recommend it to people that like funny books, and people who like Diary Of A Wimpy Kid. I would say it was a 10 to me.
